GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE

1.Application of the general conditions of sale

1.1 Any purchase order of products at BIOTEK srl is governed by these general conditions of sale, without prejudice to STARLET’s right to apply special conditions, applicable to purchases made via the internet.

1.2 STARLET reserves the right to modify these general conditions of sale at any time by publishing a new version.

2. Order

2.1 You can order through http://starletpmu.com

2.2 STARLET offers the products for sale within the limits of stock available at the time of the purchase order. There is no minimum total or single order.

2.3 The prices shown are excluding VAT and transport. At the time of shipment, the current VAT rate will be applied and the transport costs for the order will be added.

2.4 STARLET reserves the right to refuse an order, to set purchase limits or to require advance payment, in particular in the case of unpaid invoices, credit risk or insolvency.

3. Delivery

3.1 Shipments are made by selected Express Courier. Once the order is received, accepted and processed, the time required for shipping is 2 (two) working days for Italy, standard areas served by express courier and 3 (three) to 7 (seven) days for islands or remote areas. In case of purchase of equipment or particular products, you will be contacted to establish delivery times. When the package is shipped from our warehouses, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a link through which you can find out the exact delivery date.

3.2 The delivery will take place from Monday to Friday excluding holidays.

3.3 Shipments abroad are subject to evaluation in relation to the geographical area.

3.4 The risks of loss and deterioration of the goods are transferred to the customer at the time of delivery, or, in case of transfer of the goods from one place to another, to the carrier at the time of delivery. In the event of force majeure, STARLET will not be responsible for delay or non-delivery.

4. Verification of the goods

4.1 It is up to the customer to check, upon delivery, the quantity and status of the products and, in the event of anomalies and / or missing items / products, to collect the goods subject to checking the content and inform STARLET within 7 (seven) days from the date of receipt of the products, keeping the invoice and the waybill of the courier.

4.2 After following all the indications of point 4.1, STARLET reserves the right to check for any deficiencies or anomalies and, in agreement with the customer, will supply products at its own expense to integrate the missing or substitutes in case of damaged products or will issue a refund in case of return if the goods will be returned in the original packaging, accompanied by the relative purchase invoice according to the conditions expressed in point 5.2.

5. Returns

5.1 For purchases of equipment and / or accessories made via the internet it will always be possible to exercise the right of withdrawal on the basis within 14 calendar days of delivery of the goods (or of the last goods for multiple orders), by contacting customer service for the methods of return. The goods must be returned to the care and expense of the consumer within 14 calendar days from the date on which the consumer communicated his decision to withdraw to STARLET.

5.2 STARLET will only accept returns of goods in perfect condition and in their original packaging, accompanied by the relative purchase invoice. In the event that returns have been made in accordance with the above, STARLET will issue a refund via paypal or bank transfer according to the payment method made by the customer at the time of purchase, within a maximum of 14 days from receipt of the return at the Milan office. STARLET will not refund the shipping costs invoiced with the purchase, nor the return costs.

6. Price and billing

6.1 The prices invoiced for the products ordered are those in force on the day of issue of the purchase order, including taxes and shipping costs. Shipping costs are indicated separately within the invoice.

6.2 For deliveries to Vatican City, the Republic of San Marino, Livigno and Campione and / or other areas with special status, the buyer will pay the customs permits and taxes or other expenses that are taxable upon arrival of the goods .

6.3 STARLET retains the right of ownership of the delivered goods until full payment of the invoice.

6.4 All products are subject to change in price without notice from STARLET.

7. Payment

7.1 For purchases made via the internet, the amount of the corresponding invoice must be paid in advance by credit card, paypal or bank transfer before sending the goods or by cash on receipt of the order.

7.2 Any credit card payment is due and payable immediately. Credit card data will be encrypted during the transaction for security reasons. The identification data of the credit card (type, number and expiry date) are neither viewed nor stored by STARLET such data are in fact passed, on a secure SSL connection, directly to the bank that carries out the task of authorizing the payment. In the case of a second purchase by credit card it will be necessary to re-enter all the card data.

7.3 Cash on delivery: valid only in Italy. By choosing this method, payment will be made to the express courier upon delivery of the purchased product: in addition to the amount of the product and the shipping costs, a contribution will be required for cash on delivery according to the rates in force. Payment must be made in cash or bank check made out to STARLET directly to the courier. Only exact amounts are accepted, corresponding to the amount of the order: no restitution is provided.

8. Machine warranty and after-sales service

8.1 STARLET equipment is guaranteed for 12 months from delivery directly by the manufacturer in accordance with art. 1495 Civil Code and according to the terms and conditions in force.

8.2 For any questions regarding equipment assistance, the customer can contact support using the dedicated form on the site.

9. Data protection

9.1 The data provided will be used for orders, sending commercial information, for statistical use and for offers reserved to STARLET. The data will be processed in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Code (Legislative Decree 196/2003) and will not be transferred to third parties, if not to the services that will intervene in the organization and management of transport and delivery, used by STARLET.

9.2 In compliance with art. 7 of the aforementioned Code, it will be possible at any time to request information on your data, as well as to modify or cancel them by contacting STARLET.

10. Disputes

10.1 In the event of disputes, the Court of Milan has exclusive jurisdiction.
